Brewed for the 7th anniversary Maltehops, 2757 is a collaboration with Harricana Brewery to help raise funds to support those living with breast cancer. Indeed, for every case of this beer sold, $5 will be donated this excellent cause! 💖
If the charity side of things doesn’t get you to pick up a can, maybe the beer will. As you can see, this multigrain (barley, rye, corn, riz, spelt) Saison pours a magnificent shade of pink thanks to the addition of beetroot. But that’s not where the uniqueness ends, as there’s also fresh ginger in the beer.
2757: Beer review
This serves to really accentuate the classic spice of a more Belgian saison, which tops a nice fresh bed of crisp cereals and some pleasant fruity esters. While the eyes make you expect something super juicy, it’s a clean and crisp saison on the sip with delicate touches of ginger and pepper throughout. It finishes wonderfully dry and crisp with a dash of fruit in the finish. Lovely stuff! 🌾 🌹
