Located in Dieppe, New Brunswick, Cavok Brewing takes its name from the aviation acronym “Ceiling and Visibility OK.” The two founders worked as air traffic controllers in Montreal before realizing they shared a passion for craft beer and established a brewery in their native New Brunswick in 2016. 🛫👌🏻

Reduced Visibility is their year-round New England IPA, with the name being an aviation-themed reference to the hazy nature of the style. It’s hopped with Azacca and Idaho 7, bringing tons of pineapple on the nose, backed by sweet mango and a touch of tangerine, with a little dank pine resin to cap things off.

It’s soft and juicy on the sip, with a dominant canned pineapple sweetness met in the back end by lots of citrus rind, which delivers ample bitterness. Well-balanced and easy to drink, this is a great little IPA. 🍍🥭
