Nano Cinco aren’t just for IPAs. 🛑
N5 is a German Pilsner from @nanocinco hopped solely with Tettnanger. It really showcases the full earthy, herbal, floral and slightly peppery profile of the Tettnanger hops on the nose, all supported by ample hints of dough. More fresh baked bread follows on the sip, complimented by a light touch of honey.
It’s got a relatively light, effervescent body which makes for an easy sipper, but with enough texture thanks to the appearance of a meringue-like head when the beer is poured vigourously and one which lingers right through to the end, tracing every sip. There’s very little bitterness in the brew, but instead there’s a herbaceous, pepper finish that’s delightfully moreish keeping you sipping til it’s all disappeared. 👌🏻 🥖 🍻
After tasting an excellently well made Grisette, Mild and Pilsner from these guys, I can definitely say they are jacks of all trades! 💯 👏🏻
