From May 18 to 21, 2023, beer lovers gather at the Mondial de la bière in Montreal!
If you’re a beer lover like me, you’ve got a lot to look forward to from May 18 to 21, 2023, the Mondial de la bière will be taking place at Montreal’s Windsor Station.
A pioneering beer festival
Created 29 years ago, this event is now the largest international beer festival in North America. Founder Jeannine Marois is a dynamic and creative woman. In 1994, while running her own communications agency, she and two of her clients came up with the brilliant idea of bringing together brewers and beer lovers in a festive, unifying atmosphere.
The first edition was a great success, with over 40 breweries represented by 22 exhibitors, nearly 100 beers available and 20,000 visitors over 4 days. Since then, the event has been an undeniable success, even exporting to Brazil (Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo) and France (Paris).
And what will the 2023 edition be like?
This year’s edition will be full of surprises, with exciting activities such as beer-tasting workshops and lectures. You’ll be able to learn more about beer and acquire new knowledge.
You’ll also have the chance to listen to some great music and enjoy yourself with 6 concerts and a DJ on hand throughout the day.
Above all, you’ll be able to sample over 400 products from 82 breweries, microbreweries, distilleries and cideries. You’re sure to find new beers to enjoy among the German, Belgian and Estonian imports. And names like Blood Brothers Brewing, Brasserie D’orval, Brasserie Drie Fonteinen, Brasserie de la Senne, Pöhjala Brewery, Sonnen Hill and Siren Craft Brew will make your mouth water!
In short, the Mondial de la bière is the not-to-be-missed event for all beer lovers, or for those who simply want to learn more about this fascinating world. The annual success it enjoys today is the result of hard work by Jeannine Marois and her team. So, get ready to spend four exceptional days from May 18 to 21, 2023 at Montreal’s Windsor Station. Ready, set, go!
